Application Checklist

Before you begin your application, please be sure to gather: 

1. Your references.

• Do you know an Academy member? You will be asked to list their name on your application.

• If you do not know a member, you will be asked to list the names and email addresses of industry peers.

2. Plus the following, depending on your role:

IN FRONT OF THE MIC

• Link to podcast program(s) or podcast episode(s), publicly available online with appropriate credits in show notes.

• If credits are not listed online, provide links to episodes and include time stamps of appearance and/or credits.

• You may also list a link to your Podchaser profile.

BEHIND THE MIC

Are you a full time employee, or full-time consultant for one show or company?

• Link to podcast program(s) or podcast episode(s), publicly available online with appropriate credits in show notes.

• If credits are not listed online, provide links to episodes and include time stamps of appearance and/or credits.

• You may also include a link to your LinkedIn profile and/or a website listing your roles/services.

Are you an industry consultant with multiple clients?

• List of key podcast industry clients.

  Link to your LinkedIn profile and/or website listing your roles/services.

Are you a journalist who covers podcasting?

• Links to, or clippings of, at least 10 podcast-related articles where you are credited.
